Keep a sound layout
A colour refresh can avoid the cost of replacing usable cabinet boxes. Keep electrical and plumbing changes separate so they do not disappear inside a wrapping quote.
Fronts are not the whole kitchen
Ask whether the quote includes end panels, visible edges, plinths, backs, handles and removal of the old film. Two different scopes can look like a big price difference.
Preparation and edges
Grease, loose laminate and damp boards can undermine an expensive film. A cheaper quote that skips substrate preparation is a poor comparison.

The decision starts with the surface and how it is used. “Vinyl” alone is not a specification for every part of a home.

There is no reliable whole-kitchen price without measurements and a surface check. Retail film prices below are material-only benchmarks, not installation quotes.
Can I preview a finish on my own kitchen photo?
Yes. Upload a photo in the tool on this page, mark each visible cabinet face, and choose a finish. The preview changes the selected area only. It is a colour and style guide, not automatic cabinet detection or a colour-certified render. Your photo stays in your browser unless you choose to send it.
Is wrapping cheaper than replacing the kitchen?
It can be when the cabinet boxes, doors, hinges and layout are sound. Repair costs, intricate edges or premium film can narrow the saving. If moisture has swollen the boards or the layout needs plumbing or electrical changes, repair or replacement may be the better use of your budget.
What else can be wrapped besides kitchen cabinets?
Suitable interior wardrobe fronts, ordinary interior doors, vanity fronts, fitted storage and some furniture panels may be candidates. Surface condition and the selected film decide suitability. Floors, direct shower areas, fire-rated doors, exterior surfaces and hot worktops need separate assessment and a product approved for that use.
Can I wrap peeling laminate or water-damaged MDF?

Can vinyl wrapping be used beside a hob or on a worktop?
Do not assume a decorative film is heatproof, food-contact certified or suitable for a horizontal worktop. Check the exact product instructions and appliance clearances. Why can kitchen wrap lift at the edges?

The substrate, exact film and detail should be checked before fitting; a lifted or swollen layer should not simply be covered.
How should wrapped kitchen cabinets be cleaned?
Follow the care method for the exact film code. As a safe starting point, use a soft cloth and mild non-abrasive cleaner, wipe spills promptly, and avoid harsh solvents, abrasive pads, steam concentrated at edges and direct heat. How long will wrapping last, and is there a warranty?
Life depends on the film, preparation, edge treatment, heat, moisture and care. Ask for the exact manufacturer warranty and a separate written installation warranty for the quoted scope. A manufacturer warranty is not a promise that every surface or installation is covered.
Can I stay at home while the work is done?

Do I need a landlord or building NOC in Dubai?

Can I remove the film later without damage?
